Fun With Ragdolls: The Game is a fun, but rather shallow experience that is sure to make you smile and laugh as you mess around with it. For me, this is a game that I enjoyed messing around with and watching my son play more than anything else. I see this as a “YouTube” kind of game where people will want to play it because of the crazy things they see YouTubers getting up to with it.

Fun With Ragdolls Install

Ok so you are not a toy, but a ragdoll and I have always found ragdoll physics amusing. Remember how crazy they were in some games back in the day, WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011 springs to my mind. Anyway, the point of Fun With Ragdolls: The Game is to play as a ragdoll, screw around, fall, get blown up, and just have a lot of laughs in general.

I See You Nice And Clear

The visuals and the general presentation of the game is decent enough. They have updated the game quite regularly so by the time you read this it could be even better looking than the last time I played it. The whole game has a really clean look to it all, it is low on details, but I think this is by design so that the game can be fast, crazy and allow you to have levels full to the brim with stuff. You can customize your ragdoll, but I do wish that they allow you to give them a tad more personality if I am being honest.

Go Ahead, Do What You Want!

The gameplay on offer in Fun With Ragdolls: The Game is what it says in the title, fun. I would assume that most people who play this game will spend the majority of their time in the sandbox mode. Here the world is your oyster and you are free to create the level of your dreams and then see how your ragdoll will react when you try to run through it.

Playing around with physics is always fun in a game like this and I get a real kick out of putting things in place to try and create some kind of chain reaction of chaos! There are some mini-games that you can play around with and these are ok, they are not the most exciting mini-games, but you can level up which will then unlock more stuff for you. The thing is as the games are not super fun, it really feels more like a chore than it should be.

I can see the kind of market they are going for with Fun With Ragdolls: The Game. As a guy in his 30s, I had my fill after a few gameplay sessions. Empire of sin - expansion passes. I might go back to it when it gets a big update to see what they have added. My son on the other hand was all in with this and I know it is a game he and his friends like to mess around and have fun with so that is who the target audience is for this game if you ask me.

Pros: Escapists 2 - glorious regime prisoners.

I like the way the game looks
It is a lot of fun the way the ragdolls react
Sandbox mode really lets you get creative and wild
They at least tried with the mini-games
They seem to be quite good at providing updates for the game

Cons:

The game does not have a lot of substance to it
I do feel that it is aimed more at kids who are part of the YouTube generation
